Fame at last?

Imagine my suprise to find myself mentioned in an excellent blog I’ve been following for a couple of months. Richard Petty an English doctor now resident in America blogs on all manner of medical issues and therapies, both conventional and unorthodox.

You can find the article in question at: Richard G. Petty, MD: A Very Useful Demonstration of Thought Field Therapy

Personally, I don’t know where he gets the time, he usually posts 3, or 4, comprehensive and engaging articles a day! I recommend his blog as a great insight into the overlap of conventional and alternative medicine, even if his output does make me feel like a laggard.

I'm looking forward to … doing my taxes!

I’m sometimes prone to procrastination. Give me an unpleasant or tedious task and I can sit on it for weeks, or months, or …. you get the picture! There are lots of EFT and NLP approaches to procrastination some I’ve tried, some I’m still waiting to get around to.

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been playing with a little tapping idea that seems to help. There are all sorts of things I look forward to: holidays, walks in the hills, good company, working with people. It’s easy to get on with these tasks, because they hardly seem like tasks at all.

Free Cinema Tickets

I received this email today. I know it’s short notice, but if you like the movies and would like to support a great cause, you may be in luck.

I work for the PR agency for Nissan, and the Nissan Micra C+C is offering free tickets to watch The Devil Wears Prada at the Odeon Cinema, at the Metro Centre, Gateshead, at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 26th September. It’s a chance to see the film before it goes on national general release on October 5th!

Based on the best selling novel by Lauren Weisberger, The Devil Wears Prada is the must-see film this year and features Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

Tickets are free and we would like to invite staff at your organisation to attend. If any staff would like a free ticket, please could they email their names and how many tickets they want and I will reply to confirm whether they have got a ticket. Tickets are limited so please email me as soon as possible to increase your chances of getting to see this great film first and for free.

Because Nissan Micra C+C is also partnering with Breakthrough Breast Cancer for this October Breast Cancer Awareness month, volunteers on the night will be collecting donations to the charity so anything people can donate would be greatly appreciated.

If you’d like to see the movie, and help with a very worthwhile cause, please email Micheal Cooper directly.
